The PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) course is an experience program for non-certified divers. This course is designed with fun and safety in mind. You will be introduced to basic scuba diving knowledge and skills and then be led on an underwater tour around the world-famous Snoopy Island.
Paperwork / Classroom / Pool / Shore Dive Snoopy Island
Our classroom is fitted with a TV as well as a whiteboard with all the training materials necessary for effective learning. In the classroom is where most of our theory takes place.
When doing book-based learning, it should be noted that that depending on student progress, an extra day may be added to the duration of the course.
We have an onsite swimming pool based in Sandy Beach Hotel and Resort. All pool training dives are done in our own swimming pool. The pool is crystal clear throughout the year and has a maximum depth of 2.2m.
Our ocean training dives are split between two different dive types, boat diving, and shore diving. This gives us a unique opportunity, it affords us a varied training experience, building students’ confidence with different entry styles and diving techniques.
Our boat dives visit the many dive sites along the coast, all varying in-depth and marine life. The shore dives are done around Snoopy Island which is bursting with corals and marine life. We regularly spot turtles and black-tip reef sharks on Snoopy Island
